INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

As a mental health enthusiast, I will forever be passionate about supporting others improve their mental health.

Individual therapy involves setting therapeutic goals, processing past/current life stressors, and learning how to manage symptoms/triggers in effort to increase quality of life.

As humans, we often get caught up in our “normal” patterns of thinking and behaving. They are our normal because they’ve worked for us in the past. They’re safe and familiar. The thought of change, even if it is positive, can be uncomfortable.

While the therapeutic process can be uncomfortable and difficult at times, it’s long-term benefits outweigh the temporary discomfort.

When we simplify it, individual therapy is just a human talking with another human.
